Spring Collection 2023

Here in Southeast Michigan we are enjoying sunshine on the melting snow. The trees were held in dormancy by a recent ice storm. After the welcome sunshine has melted ice and snow away we are warmed too by thoughts of Spring. The days are longer now and a little bit warmer. The recent increase in sunshine has me dreamy with peachy pinks and light orange, sap green mixed with turquoise. These are the colors in my designs for Spring and Summer 2023. I also recently tried a really good lemon gelato and I am reminded of it when I look at these summer, light, pastel colors.

Sherbet Diamonds

I really enjoy this design. The repetition of the diamond shapes is calming while the alternating light, warm colors bring a happy playfulness that is reminiscent of summer fun and juicy fruits. The contrasting greens give the fresh liveliness of a new beginning. Somehow Spring and Summer seem like a fresh start. That’s how this design makes me feel. A fresh start in the sunshine (with a scoop of lemon gelato in hand! :). Spring Floral Painting

Next in the collection we have a beautiful floral in peachy pinks and more sap green. One of my favorite things about Spring and Summer is time in my gardens. Outside everywhere the beautiful flowers! This floral design has a softness that once again leaves you feeling light and refreshed.
